Sue is a native of Magnolia Arkansas, but spent many years living in Shreveport, Louisiana where she owned a boutique luncheon restaurant and gift shop, Bon Appetit. She honed her business skills from the development and success of her restaurant, and built Bon Appetit into one of the top ten small business in Shreveport-Bossier. Sue thoroughly enjoyed serving the public for over twenty years, and gained an invaluable skillset from her success as a small business owner.
Sue sold Bon Appetit when she and her husband, Mike, moved to Little Rock. She soon began working for Southern Living at Home, and quickly rose to the top as a lead director of this home decor company. When she decided to explore a new career path, Sue joined her daughter Stephanie Fess Tharp in residential real estate.
She has applied her knowledge of customer service, a commitment to others, and a tenacious work ethic in her real estate career, which has led to her becoming a top producer in Little Rock.
Sue maintains a high level of commitment to her clients throughout the home buying and selling process. She enjoys helping each client make decisions about one of their largest investments: “More than anything it is an honor and a privilege to work with people at such important times in their lives.”
Sue serves on the board of the Little Rock Meet and Greet Club, and is a member of Fellowship Bible Church. Sue also mentors with Kids Hope USA, a national program which works with children in schools. She loves to spend time with her children and grandchildren, and enjoys the support of a large family. Sue has based her previous business success and her real estate career success on Harvey McKay’s advice, “Do what you love, love what you do and deliver more than you promise.”
