Pleasant Valley is an established neighborhood in West Little Rock that was developed in the late 1960s by former Governor Winthrop Rockerfeller. The community was designed to accommodate the growing Central Arkansas population migrating westward from Downtown, Heights, and Midtown neighborhoods. Located just 8 miles from downtown, Pleasant Valley has approximately 1,000 homes and 52 acres of green space, with most homes having half-acre lots.
The Pleasant Valley Country Club is positioned in the center of the neighborhood and features a championship 27-hole golf course, which provides a beautiful setting for larger properties. Pleasant Valley also features neighborhood pools, playgrounds, tennis courts, and a community center.
