Hillcrest/Midtown

Historic neighborhood developed between 1890 and 1920 in the center of Little Rock.

Welcome to Hillcrest/Midtown

The Hillcrest Historic District was developed between 1890 and 1920 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. Hillcrest is located in the middle of Little Rock and includes several neighborhood additions that were once part of the incorporated town of Pulaski Heights.

Hillcrest is home to Allsopp Park, a large city park with deep woods criss-crossed with walking and bike paths, a creek, and play areas. Because the residents of Hillcrest have resisted the tear-down trend, the neighborhood includes various architectural styles, including classical revival, bungalow, craftsman, Tudor revival, and late Victorian.
